How to stop judging other people?
Jesus said, "do not judge others and themselves will not be judged. This precept is difficult to follow and Osho is key to stop judging people.
Osho argues that only need to understand how we judge others and why do it. Very understanding of this mechanism may stop persistent attempts to judge others.
We can judge about another person only for his behavior, actions, because it is only available for observation. But the very man we know nothing, do not know anything about his inner being, we don't know his whole story.
Human actions (external manifestations) are irrelevant to his inner being. For example, people may outwardly smile, and when inside a deep sadness. It can hide its internal State, hiding his smile behind the external. People may outwardly laugh, but inside feeling deep dissatisfaction. And we begin to judge another person on the basis of his smiles and laughter, not knowing really what to him inside. Such judgments are incorrect
So the first thing to understand is impossible to correctly judge a person by his external manifestations and behavior because these judgments are always false.
You are great to know yourself-when others judge you by your actions, you will see that they are wrong. You don't judge yourself by your actions, right? You judge yourself on your inner state of their existence. So what makes you judge others only on the basis of their action or appearance? Actions, words and facial expressions is a fleeting thing, which are constantly changing.
To stop judging other people, you just need to watch need a little care, awareness, says Osho. And then judgments terminate themselves, without your efforts to stop doing it.
Just watch. Judgments about other people based only on external fleeting things unrelated to the inner self of a person. This is similar to how you open the book, read one paragraph, and based on this paragraph alone make a conclusion about the whole book. But you understand that you could catch the most bad paragraph, and judge the whole book on tiny music, vyrvannomu out of context — it's stupid.
When we judge others, we do the same thing-they dig a tiny episode in the entire context of human life without knowing its history because his inner being to us is not available.
Therefore, any judgment is wrong. And a deep understanding of this stops judgments about other people.
